Preparing pomander balls:
1. Let's pierce the oranges with cloves.
2. Take a firm orange and stud it with cloves, like that!
3. When the oranges dry, they release a lovely fragrance.
4. Can you smell the cloved oranges? They refresh the air so nicely.
Preparing gingerbread cookies:
1. Can you help me prepare the roll-out cookies?
2. Let's hurry up! We can't chill the dough. It will get stiff and we won't be able to roll it out.
3. Choose a cookie cutter and start cutting out. Would you prefer reindeer or Santa-shaped?
4. Now, mommy has to gather scraps, roll-out dough and you can cut more cookies!
5. The cookies are ready! Let's wait till they cool down.
6. Would you like to decorate the cookies with icing, chocolate or sprinkles?
1. Are we getting an artificial or live tree? Look, it's a fir/pine/spruce!
2. We can't buy the live tree too early, because we want it to stay fresh and retain its needles through the whole holidays.
3. The artificial tree is almost indistinguishable but it misses the aroma.
4. Let's envelop the tree in homemade decorations!
5. Time to position the Christmas lights. Let's start from the top and make our way down, weaving them around every major branch.
6. Hang those larger baubles closer to the centre!
7. Let's add some more decorative baubles/glittering snowflakes/glass birds/wooden ornaments.
8. Now, daddy will place the topper on top of the Christmas tree. This star looks amazing!
9. Oh, look! The Christmas tree is losing needles. We need to vacuum the dry needles.
Preparing the house:
2. Let's play some Christmas music to get in the mood!
3. Shall we put the wreath on the table or hang it on the door?
4. Those fresh flowers are so lush and fragrant! Let's wait for all the blooms to open up.
5. Let's place those eye-catching ornaments on the stairs!
6. The Christmas stocking will look great attached to the mantelpiece.
7. Let's dim the lights and light the candles, we want it to be magical!
Do zobaczenia wkrótce!
